After 12 months of waiting the Snowball was finally claimed this Saturday, during what was a fantastic day of festivities for all involved with TSC. This November edition of the draw was built around the annual Christmas Party and therefore a completely full clubhouse waited with bated breath as Mr. Burnett plucked the six lucky numbers from his box.

It was Ted Small who was the luckiest of all, with number 22 coming out to finally put an end to this year long wait for a Snowball winner. Ted is a long time patron of Timperley Sports Club as well as a long standing member of the 200 club fraternity so this could not have been won by a nicer gent.

In what was a pleasant oddity, the owner of every winning number drawn on the day was present during the draw and able to collect their winnings in person. Whilst not only saving us the cost of a couple of stamps, it’s always nice to see such fervent support for the draw from our club members.

Over the past few months we have seen a drastic increase in support for the 200 Club and as a result come the new year we will be looking to review the prize allocation as a thank you to all of our members for their support in this #OneClubFourSports fundraiser.

On a separate note, we at TSC would like the take this opportunity to first thank all of our volunteers from Saturday for their dedication in making Saturday such a success. Without their tireless help the day would’ve been impossible. Secondly, those who gave donations to the tombola, allowing the club to raise hundreds of pounds on the day itself. Finally, we would like to give our particular thanks to all our members who came down and made the day so special, there was a particularly warm atmosphere around the place on Saturday and for that, as always, we are eternally grateful.
