Why not have a look what TSC has to offer this April?

With April usually one of the more serene months here at TSC, this years seems to break that trend with plenty going on for all ages. Here’s a breakdown of what we’ve got on offer this month.

The start of the month coincides with the Easter Holidays and therefore there are holiday camps on offer here at TSC. Starting on Tuesday 3rd April we have the return of the THC Hockey Camp running until Thursday 5th April. With only limited spaces be sure to book your place now. For more information including how to book, please follow this link

Chris and Wendy Bullocks Soccerwise camps are running concurrently from Tuesday 3rd – Friday 13th April. Reasonably priced at just £12 a day and £55 for the whole week, make sure to book your places in advance here.

Sunday 8th April is this years date for the Manchester Marathon. Once again the Club will be used a stopping point along the race, and as always we warn all involved in activities at the Club that day to prepare for road closures around the area, most notably Stockport Road which is usually shut for 3-4 hours during the day.

Sunday 15th April is this year’s Club Volunteers Day. We hope to see as many of you as possible to lend a hand in giving the club a fresh lick of paint whilst getting ready for the start of the summer season.

Its tuxedos at the ready for the THC James Bond Themed Dinner Dance on Friday 20th April. At only £25 a ticket this event sold out in record time, as we will welcome over 120 guests to see off the end of the Hockey season in style. With Dave Litt as the compère
without compare and cocktails on offer all night, it promises to be a night not to miss.

What a different picture it is from this time last year, as Saturday 21st April is officially the start of the cricket season here at TSC. The 2nd XI and 3rd XI are due to play throughout the day before climaxing in the official “TCC Start of Season Celebration”. Daz will be back leading his ever popular smartphone quiz from 8-10pm, followed straight after by live music by XL5.

Thursday 26th April is this years date for the TSC AGM. This years AGM is a little different than normal however. As well as the usual agenda, the key topic of conversation will be relating directly to TSC's future over the next five years and onwards. The AGM as usual is open to all members and so we hope to see as many down as possible. We ask all attendees to be at the club for 7:15 for a prompt 7:30 start given there is evidently a lot to discuss.
