Its a very busy month for us at TSC, here's the breakdown of whats going on.

Cold dark nights are well and truly upon us now, so here is what’s on at TSC this month to try and lure you into our nice warm clubhouse.

Once again the month starts off with our Thirsty First Friday on November 4th for the Smartphone Pub Quiz. This has very quickly become one of the stars of the TSC social calendar with numbers snowballing every month. Just £2 a head to get involved and test your brains against Timperley’s know-it-alls.

Wednesday 15th November brings the Cheshire County Cricket League down for their yearly meeting. With so many league representatives in a single room, it promises to be a harrowing sight for a certain Mr Page and Mr Horsfield. Jokes aside hosting the League meetings is always a honour for the Club and this one promises to be no different. Lets hope for a uneventful yet productive night of planning to lead us into next season.

We’re faced with what is very much a Super Saturday on the 18th November. Nick Burnett’s infamous 200 Club returns with a £275 snowball on offer. With it not having being won at all this year, maybe November will be a lucky month for someone! As usual it is just £4 a go to enter, with all profits going directly to TSC development.

Phil Westwood’s shandy brigade are back in town following on from the 200 Club draw with the Timperley FC Race Night. The compère without compare promises a lot, offering even a special guest appearance from a magician! Thanks to Phil’s tireless work this event has been sold out for months and guarantees to be fun for all the family.

Social events aside, the sporting calendar for November is just as busy with each weekend offering something for everyone. Full fixtures for every winter section run all the way through the month. Highlights are as followed:

Saturday 11th November – The battle for second spot in the Premier Division Conference B is hotting up as Timperley host challengers Heaton Mersey. With both teams trying to secure a good position going into the division reshuffle, this game has more on it than their previous meeting this season as we look to improve on a 6-8 defeat at their place.

Sunday 12th November – It’s a rematch of the Mens Over 50’s National Final from last year as Taylor’s vets take on an in form Fornby side both looking to continue their run to Lee Valley. This promises to be a game not to miss as arguably the two best sides in the comp meet at such an early stage.

Also on this Sunday, the Ladies 1’s take on Ben Rhydding as they look to continue their recent run of good form with another 3 points. Coinciding with the Vet’s game the atmosphere promises to be electric as we look to keep our Blue Astro a fortress this season.

On top of all of this, the bar will as always be showing ALL of the live televised football this November, being one of the few places in the local area fortunate enough to have both Sky Sports and BT Sport. Further evidence if needed that TSC is the place to watch all of your live sport.

With such a busy month ahead, we’re looking forward to a full clubhouse throughout the run up to Christmas.
