JOIN OUR TEAM AS A FULL OR PART TIME ASSITANT BAR MANAGER !

Timperley Sports Club is aiming to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Bar Manager(s) who, as part of a team, will assume responsibility for management of the bar and club within a busy and ambitious local community sports club.

£ 23,500 to £25,000 depending on experience, Full time equivalent salary (pro rata for part time post)

This is a salaried permanent role including statutory holiday entitlement, sick pay, and, if applicable, stakeholder pension.

We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, reliable and who is comfortable with working on their own initiative. The ability to lead a small team of sessional staff will be important as well as an adaptable, flexible and enthusiastic approach to dealing with a range of situations as they arise. We are looking for good communication and people skills to engage with a wide range of members and customers including external functions and events.

You will have a sound appreciation of issues concerning health and safety at work and on occasion will be required to assume responsibility for the safe management of the premises including communication with members, guests and visiting teams. This is a customer-facing permanent role that requires flexibility and a positive ‘can do’ approach which is reflected in the package offered.
