NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN for the forthcoming election of TWO Directors / Trustees to the Board of Timperley Sports Club Ltd. This is just one of the many ways to get involved with helping to run and support the development of the Club and our four sports.

As well as Director roles we have a range of other ways to get involved in TSC Ltd including: Assistant Secretary involved in our governance, on our Sports and Community Development Committee, Fundraising or supporting a range of activities - see below.

Why not get involved in helping to run and develop our Club by standing for election to the Board, or by joining one of our sub-committee or working groups?

There are all sorts of ways and roles available so have a chat with one of the current Board if you'd like to find out more. Take a look at our previous our 2025 Annual Report (attached) to get a feel for the work of the Board and the running of the Club that sits alongside the work of our sections to deliver our four core sports. Our 2026 Annual Report will be shared in September prior to the AGM.

Elections are being held for TWO vacancies on the Board for Directors / Trustees elected from and by the members.

Nominations are welcomed from eligible members who are committed to the Club, with skills and experience needed to contributing to the running and development of the Club and time to commit to the role and making a difference. Nominations are particularly encouraged from female members to improve the Board’s current the gender balance.

The closing date for Director Nominations is 09:00 on Thursday 17th September 2026. .

• If you would like to put yourself forward for nomination / election, please follow the process (attached) and submit your Nomination by 09:00 on Thursday 17th September 2026. An online ballot / election will then be held and close 23rd September 2026. The result of the ballot / election will be announced at the 7th TSC Ltd AGM on Thursday 24th September 2026 at the Club.
• If you would like to consider the role of Director/Trustee role in the future and or develop into the role we would welcome the opportunity to offer support and development for a range of opportunities prior to taking up the full role in the future if required

There are many other ways to get involved and to support the running of TSC Ltd and our four sports sections (cricket, football, hockey and lacrosse), in addition to being a full Board Director / Trustee. If you would like to get involved but can’t fully commit at present to the Director role, please get in touch and we can work with you to find a role that works for you and the Club and puts your skills, experience and energy to good use !

Other opportunities (these are appointed roles not elected)

We've a wide range of ways to get involved in helping to run and develop the Club from specific roles to joining working groups or supporting specific club or section activity. Here are some of the areas we are looking for members to get involved with:

TSC Ltd Assistant Secretary – to support the Secretary in this important area focusing on how we run the Club in line with our Rules and good governance. The Assistant Secretary role offers the opportunity to get involved in a support role and or to learn more about the role of Secretary potentially to take on the full role in the future.

Getting involved in the relaunch of a number of TSC Ltd working groups, roles and committee including:

• Sports and Community Development Sub Committee. We are particularly interested in someone with a passion and interest to take on the Chair role and lead this important area of work bringing to life what we do as a Community Benefit Society
• Fundraising Working Group - this is now a priority as we move into the final phases of Project 18 and we are looking for people to support delivering a range of one off and regular fundraising activities to help us make our development plans.
• helping to develop Club communications, including social media and helping develop the relaunch of the TSC website
• helping to set up, lead and run community based activities based at the Club and or club social events and activities
• OR if you have other skills, interests, expertise or a willingness to learn and give up some time to contribute to running and developing the Club.
