Happy New Year to all members and our community users of the club's facilities. The cold snap has was the winner this weekend will all sport cancelled due to frozen pitches. With sub zero temperatures forecast until at least the middle of the week the decision has been made to CANCEL ALL SPORT on the ATP's on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th January 2026 and revise the clubhouse opening hours.

Daytime classes in the function room will NOT be affected.

We will review based on the forecast and pitch inspections for all planned ATP use from Wednesday 7th January onwards and update sections and members. The air temperature will need to get to 4C to 5C + for a period to thaw the pitch sub-base to make safe to use.

Revised Bar Opening Times

• The Clubhouse/Bar will be OPEN TODAY (Sunday 4th Jnaury2026) until 6pm
• The Clubhouse/Bar will be be CLOSED in the afternoons / evening on
• - Monday 5th January 2026
• - Tuesday 6th January 2026

- all hockey is therefore cancelled Monday / Tuesday this week
- all junior football on Tuesday
- all external ATP hires on Monday and Tuesday

Hopefully the thaw will start from Wednesday / Thursday and we will be able to get sport back on and the bar / clubhouse re-opened in the evenings.
