All welcome , no experience necessary, why not give cricket a go and try a new sport this summer!

Whatever your age, experience or ambitions there is a place for you at Timperley Cricket Club.
- Bob Page: Girls Organiser TCC

Come down in April to Timperley Cricket Club, based at Timperley Sports Club, and try our softball cricket taster sessions on the Blue AstroTurf pitch.

Timperley has a long history of hosting women's and girls' cricket teams. Most recently we reformed our women's and girl's section in 2020 and have expanded every year since. For the first time in 2024 we will be fielding Girls’ teams at all junior age groups U9-U15 and a senior Women's softball team too.

All welcome and no experience necessary. We also have a fully qualified female coach to help everyone develop their cricketing skills in a welcoming an friendly environment.

Whatever your age, experience or ambitions there is a place for you to play or simply watch and enjoy cricket at Timperley Cricket Club in 2024.

The 2024 season starts in April and in order to give everyone a chance to try our wonderful game we are organising three softball cricket taster sessions in April on the blue AstroTurf pitch.

- Girl's (8-15) Tuesday 9th April 7.00-8.30
- Ladies (13+) Tuesday 16 April 7.00-8.30
- All ages Tuesday 23 April 7.00-8.30

No need to book just come along on the night and arrive 5 - 10 minutes before the start time. Contact https://www.timperleycricketclub.com/contact for more information.

The weather in the last few months has been very wet and many Clubs in south Manchester are unlikely to play any cricket in April. We at Timperley unlike other clubs, however, are very lucky, we have our two first class AstroTurf pitches and this enables us despite the bad weather to hold or taster sessions before the season even commences.

I am sure you will have a great time and I look forward to seeing you on a Tuesday in April.
Or simply come along with the family and sit on our new terrace and watch a game or two when summer finally arrives. There will be matches most evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. You never know after watching a game you too may want to give it a go.
